The Friary Shop - great Christmas ideas
We are looking for a Shop Manager
Would you be interested in taking responsibility for the management of the Hilfield Friary Shop? The current managers, Caroline Dennis and Jo-Barlow Poole, have established the shop not only as an outlet for books, cards, Franciscan publications and many other items, but also as a place of welcome to those visiting the Friary. After fourteen years they are now wishing to hand this on to others. Those managing the shop share in the life and vision of the Friary and are supported by other volunteers from both within and beyond the Hilfield Community. We stock a variety of items, from books (e.g. Franciscan, religious, environment, wildlife), to cards, candles, sweatshirts, brown hoodies, modern icons, small statue of St Francis, teddies-with-habits, coasters, mugs, rosaries and silver crosses, the popular Hilfield tea towel – and a lot more. The shop is open most afternoons Tuesday to Saturday and is a great meeting place! We also have a selection of Christmas gift ideas.
